Breathtaking sceneries - a pleasure to have an excuse to stop and rest for a few moments. Heavy climbing uphill to Gorepani. Then two more killing days down to Pokhara.

Along the road back from Lo Manthang, the so-called hidden, forbidden kingdom. Unfortunately not so hidden or forbidden anymore. Full of bill boards and tourist. Happy to be back on the simple country lane.

Food is served to all pelgrims attending the puja. The camera was there ca. 40 minutes, while I had a chat outside.

With the pinhole it took about 45 minutes to get this image. Time enough to enjoy my meal. On a tracking, direction Everest base camp.

An empty farmhouse along the road. A few mooing cows in the stable. This "treasure" upstairs on the first floor.

A long, exhausting climb to come here. Unfortunately the monks had to leave for a Puja on the other side of the valley. Only 10 minutes to make this picture.

Natural hedges along the road in Mustang. On the way back from Lo Manthang. 9 days walking to Pokhara. From there the bus back to Kathmandu.
